What to Make of Tab Trade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Safety

Now, the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. That does not make it safe. It does factor into how you think about it.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

The Bonus

Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you commit.
